Objective To understand the rodent population density and its seasonal fluctuation,and provide a scientific evidence for rodent control in Changchun.Methods The night trapping method was used to monitor the density of rodents.Results The average annual rodent density in Changchun from 2011 to 2013 was 0.60％.The density was 1.13％ in rural villages,0.46％ in residential area and 0.23％ in catering services.Conclusion The rodent population density remains at low levels in Changchun.
