Progress of application and research of plants used in mosquito control
Mosquitoes are capable of transmiting various infectious diseases through sucking human blood.Mosquito management is the main measure to control mosquito borne diseases in many countries,especial those in tropical area.Chemical pesticides have been used to control mosquitoes for long time and achieved significant effect,but some problems such as insecticide resistance of mosquitoes,environmental pollution arised.Using plants to control mosquitoes is now a focus of research in the world because of its high efficiency,eco-friendship,easy degradation.The resources,applications and problems of plant to control mosquitoes are reviewed in this paper.
