Vector control has become increasingly prominent in the protection of major events in the post-epidemic era.During the Universiade,there was a peak period for the breeding of various vectors in Chengdu.Once a vector-borne disease occurs,it is easy to cause rapid transmission,which will bring serious public health problems to the local area.Vector control plays an important role in preventing the spread of vector-borne diseases.Taking the opening ceremony venue as an example,this article discussed the investigation and management strategy of vectors for the Chengdu Universiade.
