Red imported fire ant is one of the most dangerous invasive species in the world,and its rapid spread in China has aroused great attentions from the administrative department.According to the classification of the National Agricultural Technology Promotion Center,Qingdao is classified as a Level-two risk area for red fire ant invasion.In this paper,the risk of red fire ant invasion in Qingdao is evaluated by analyzing the environmental factors closely related to the spread of red fire ant,such as temperature,rainfall and vegetation.The invasion process of red fire ant is divided into three stages:pre-invasion,pre-establishment and post-establishment,and the prevention and control objectives and specific strategies of each stage are proposed.
