Objective:To explore the application effect of mild hypothermia therapy before hospitalization on the protection of brain function in stroke patients.Methods:From January 2022 to June 2022, Zhenjiang Emergency Center used the G-FAST scoring method to evaluate the patients at the pre-hospital emergency scene, and send the patients initially judged as stroke to the hospital for treatment. 85 patients were finally diagnosed as stroke attack, including 55 hemorrhagic stroke patients and 30 ischemic stroke patients; the patients were divided into an observation group of 45 cases and a control group of 40 cases according to data randomization. The control group received routine pre-hospital emergency measures, while the observation group received mild hypothermia treatment in addition to the same routine pre-hospital emergency measures. The two groups of patients continued to receive mild hypothermia treatment for 72 hours after being diagnosed with stroke in the hospital. The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS), and Barthel Index Rating Scale (Bathel) scores of two groups of patients were compared before and after treatment.Results:After 72 hours of mild hypothermia treatment, the NIHSS score and Barthel index of the observation group patients were better than those of the control group patients, and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05).Conclusions:Pre-hospital mild hypothermia treatment for stroke patients can improve the prognosis of neurological function in acute stroke patients.
