Objective:To explore the application effect of 3D printing model in external fixation training of pelvic fracture compared with that of traditional education. Methods:Sixty surgeons working in Tiantai County People’s Hospital from January 2019 to December 2020 were included and divided into control group (n=30) and experimental group (n=30) by random data table method. The control group was taught by traditional teaching methods. The experimental group of doctors used 3D printed models for teaching. The scores of pelvic fracture external fixation training and teaching satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:The scores of external fixation training in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). The teaching satisfaction of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of 3D printing model in the training of external fixation of pelvic fractures has achieved good effect, which is helpful to improve the diagnostic efficiency, and is suitable for promotion and application in primary hospitals.
