Assessment of the Urban Land Surface Thermal Environment Coupled with"Current-Trend"
According to the issue that the assessment of the urban surface thermal environment heavily focuses on the present state with insufficient attention to dynamic trends,a novel method for assessing the urban surface thermal environ-ment is proposed, coupled with"Current-Trend".By employing non-parametric trend tests, the evolution of surface tem-peratures over time is analyzed, efficiently pinpointing areas with increasing,no changing, and decreasing temperature trends. And by integrating these insights with current temperature data, the method identifies critical zones where thermal environmental concerns are both acute and escalating and thus to realize a comprehensive assessment of urban thermal envi-ronment conditions.Conducted in central urban area of Tianjin,a case study confirms the effectiveness of this approach in recognizing regions prone to worsening thermal conditions and areas persistently subject to high temperatures. The findings of this study furnish a scientific evaluative tool for the meticulous planning and management of urban thermal environments, facilitating the development of targeted strategies to ameliorate thermal conditions and elevate environmental quality.
