Cognitive Load Assessment Method for Human-Computer Interaction in Command and Control System
Aimed at the problem of human physiological limitation can't meet the demand of complex command and control system function trend,a cognitive load assessment method for command and control system is proposed.Firstly, based on the national aeronautics and space administration-task load index(NASA-TLX)scale,14 index items and 4 criterion items are determined. Then, the weight value of each index is calculated through the analytic hierarchy process(AHF),and the hu-man-computer interaction assessment method is formed. Finally, the cognitive load and its availability before and after the command and control system interface revision are measured and compared. The experimental results show that the method can be used to evaluate the cognitive load level of the com-mand and control interface. Thus,it can provide a reference for the design and transformation of the system interface.
