Wei Yingwu is a typical representative of the Tang Dynasty's reclusive poets. With his repeated career and retire-ment,his reclusive thoughts were constantly developing and changing.During his tenure as the governor of Jiangzhou,influ-enced by the natural conditions and historical culture of Jiangzhou,Wei Yingwu gradually practiced a life of official life,in order to achieve the liberation of self employment, physical labor, and spiritual pain.He combined the official residence with the se-cluded residence, adjusting his mind with a natural and calm attitude towards life, and achieving enlightenment and detachment in the mountains and rivers of life.In the poems of Jiangzhou, the adjustment of his attitude towards official seclusion, the revi-sion of his official status, and the changes in his attitude towards life demonstrate the evolution process of Wei Yingwu's attitude towards official seclusion in Jiangzhou.
