Play-insertion toys play an important role in the development of young children.They can help children exercise their hand-eye coordination,promote the development of creativity,cultivate qualities of cooperation and sharing,and also stim-ulate childrens desire for knowledge and spirit of exploration.Through observing the play-insertion activities of 28 young children in the middle class within two weeks,it was found that children prefer to choose tubular and block-style play-insertion toys,chil-dren's choice tendency is influenced by gender and peer participation.Based on the research results,suggestions can be made for young children's development,teacher guidance strategies,and the placement of play-insertion toys in kindergarten.
