Sign language is a unique visual language and serves as a vital tool for thinking and communication for deaf students in special education schools.Every student majoring in special education must master sign language proficiently.Ad-dressing the prevalent issues in students'previous sign language learning processes,such as students reluctance to express them-selves publicly,their lack of courage for proactive communication;easily copying from sign language dictionaries but struggling to develop sign language thinking;mostly engaging in simple learning and imitation,lacking innovative qualities in sign lan-guage,"we adhere to the teaching innovation concept that is"oriented by the needs of deaf education,fundamentally based on moral education,centered on student development,supported by information technology,and with sign language ability as the core."From the perspective of visual linguistics,we have constructed an innovative teaching model characterized by"deeply inte-grated industry-academia-research-application and iterative enhancement across multiple dimensions,"and adopted an innovative teaching measure that"promotes six approaches simultaneously,integrates ideological and political education,and pursues con-tinuous innovation."This measure effectively addresses the problems,enhances the"advanced,innovative and degree of chal-lenge of the curriculum",and achieves the innovative teaching goal of"shaping the spirit of teaching with love through sign lan-guage and enabling unobstructed communication between deaf and hearing individuals."
