Expert consensus on the writing of clinical testing reports of flow cytometry in graphics and text format
Flow cytometry(FCM)is an experimental technique that integrates optics,mechanics,fluid dynamics,immunology,and other disciplines and is widely used in clinical testing.The FCM clinical testing reports present the results in words and necessary graphics with interpretive annotations,proposing laboratory diagnosis and further test suggestions.However,the description and reporting normalization of FCM testing results have not yet been unified,resulting in various levels of readability and stringency in FCM testing reports among different medical institutions.Therefore,the Laboratory Medicine Committee of Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine(LMC-CAIM)organized experts to normalize the necessary information and reporting format in FCM clinical testing reports with images and texts,in order to enhance the laboratory and clinical ability to correctly interpret FCM testing results.
