Expressions of Cyclin D1,VEGF and p27 in gastric cancer tissues of gastric cancer patients complicated with Hp infection and association with clinical characteristics
OBJECTIVE To observe the expression levels of cyclin D1(Cyclin D1),vascular endothelial growth fac-tor(VEGF)and p27 in gastric cancer tissues and analyze the association with Helicobacter pylori infection in the gastric cancer patients.METHODS Totally 80 gastric cancer patients complicated with Hp infection and 84 pa-tients with simple gastric cancer who were treated in Sichuan Dazhou Central Hospital from Jan 2021 to Feb 2023 were enrolled in the study and were respectively assigned as the Hp infection group and the simple gastric cancer group. The positive rates of expressions of Cyclin D1,VEGF and p27 in gastric cancer tissues were detected, and the association with the clinical characteristics of the gastric cancer patients complicated with Hp infection was ob-served.RESULTS The positive rates of expressions of Cyclin D1 and VEGF of the Hp infection group were higher than those of the simple gastric cancer group, while the positive rate of expression of p27 of the Hp infection group was lower than that of the simple gastric cancer group(P<0.05).Spearman correlation analysis showed that the positive expressions of Cyclin D1 and VEGF in gastric cancer tissues were positively correlated with clini-cal stage and differentiation degree(P<0.05),the positive expression of VEGF was positively correlated with lymphatic metastasis(P<0.05),while the positive expression of p27 was negatively correlated with clinical stage and lymphatic metastasis(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The positive rates of expressions of Cyclin D1 and VEGF are increased in the gastric cancer tissues of the gastric cancer patients complicated with Hp infection, and the positive expressions are closely associated with the clinicopathologic features.
