Levels of miRNA-146b,miRNA-29a-3p and miRNA-21 in patients with pulmonary infection secondary to severe acute cerebral infarction and their predictive value
OBJECTIVE To investigate the changes of serum micrornA-146b(miRNA-146b),miRNA-29a-3p and miRNA-21 in patients with pulmonary infection secondary to severe acute cerebral infarction and their predictive value.METHODS A total of 69 patients with pulmonary infection secondary to severe acute cerebral infarction ad-mitted to Shengjing Hospital Affiliated to China Medical University from Apr.2021 to Jan.2023 were selected,and were divided into a mild group of 36 cases,a moderate group of 26 cases and a severe group of 7 cases accord-ing to the clinical pulmonary infection score,and 60 patients with simple severe acute cerebral infarction during the same period were selected as the uninfected group.Serum levels of miRNA-146b,miRNA-29a-3p and miRNA-21 were detected in all patients to evaluate the diagnostic value of the above indexes for secondary pulmonary infec-tion.RESULTS Serum miRNA-146b,miRNA-29a-3p and miRNA-21 in the infected group were higher than those in the uninfected group(P<0.05).The serum levels of miRNA-146b,miRNA-29a-3p and miRNA-21 in severe group were higher than those in the moderate and the mild groups,and the serum levels of miRNA-146b,miR-NA-29a-3p and miRNA-21 in the moderate group were higher than those in the mild group(P<0.05).The value of miRNA-146b in the diagnosis of severe cerebral infarction complicated with pulmonary infection was the high-est,followed by miRNA-21 and miRNA-29a-3p.The combined detection of three indexes significantly improved the value of the diagnosis of pulmonary infection.CONCLUSION Serum miRNA-146b,miRNA-29a-3p and miR-NA-21 levels were positively correlated with the severity of pulmonary infection secondary to acute cerebral infarc-tion,and the combined detection had certain clinical value for early diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
