A survey on improving the rate of pre-treatment antimicrobial drug delivery for pathogenicity in hospitalized patients of 203 hospitals in Guizhou Province
OBJECTIVE To investigate the rate of pre-treatment pathogenetic delivery of antimicrobial drugs in 203 medical institutions in Guizhou Province.METHODS The questionnaires were distributed through the platform of quality control center, and the qualified questionnaires of level Ⅱ and above hospitals that participated in the ques-tionnaire survey during the survey period were analyzed.RESULTS A total of 203 qualified questionnaires were re-ceived,and more than half of the hospitals'professional staffing failed to meet the relevant requirements. The ac-cessibility of the indicators for the delivery rate of tertiary hospitals, general hospitals and public hospitals was higher than that of secondary hospitals, specialized hospitals and private hospitals(P<0.05).Among the hospi-tals able to access the data, the proportion of tertiary hospitals accessing data through information systems was higher than that of secondary hospitals, and the proportion of specialized hospitals accessing data manually was higher than that of general hospitals(P<0.05).When counting the delivery rate, the time of antibiotics use and the time of pathogenicity delivery were inconsistent, and the validity period of pathogenicity results was also dif-ferent among different hospitals. Most hospitals had doubts about the accuracy of the data. The different functional configurations of the information systems of hospitals participating in the survey ranged from 37.24%to 77.24%.For those hospitals that could not access the data, the leading reasons were the difficulty of collecting data(70.69%)or the insufficient staffing of relevant personnel(51.72%).For those hospitals that were able to access the data, the most difficulties in making improvements were in the areas of personnel(69.65%)and hardware problems(66.21%).CONCLUSION There are differences in the acquisition and management of pathogen delivery rate between different levels and different types of hospitals. At the same time, the ability and quality of data ac-quisition need to be improved, and there is also an urgent need for homogeneous standardization of the data extrac-tion process.By improving the degree of informatization and increasing the number of personnel, the rate of anti-microbial pre-treatment pathogenicity delivery can be improved in Guizhou Province.
