Postoperative infectious pathogens in patients undergoing thoracoscopic lobectomy and their risk factors
OBJECTIVE To investigate the postoperative infectious pathogens in patients undergoing thoracoscopic lobectomy and their rick factors.METHODS Totally 327 lung cancer patients who underwent thoracoscopic lobec-tomy at the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University from Jan.2019 to Dec.2022 were selected as the study subjects, and they were divided into the infection group(n=38)and the non-infection group(n=289)according to postoperative pulmonary infection, and the lung pathogens in the patients of the infection group were analyzed, and the risk factors of postoperative pulmonary infection in patients undergoing thoracoscopic lobectomy were summarized.RESULTS A total of 54 strains of pathogenic bacteria were cultured and isolated from patients with pulmonary infections,of which 22 strains of gram positive bacteria accounted for 40.74%,28 strains of Gram negative bacteria accounted for 51.85%,and 4 strains of fungi accounted for 7.41%,with Pseudomonas aerugi-nosa,Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Staphylococcus aureus being the predominant strains. The combination of dia-betes mellitus(OR=1.880),chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(OR=2.343),and the duration of operation(OR=2.161)were risk factors for postoperative pulmonary infection in patients undergoing thoracoscopic lobec-tomy(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Diabetes mellitus, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and duration of oper-ation were risk factors for postoperative pulmonary infection in patients undergoing thoracoscopic lobectomy, and the infectious bacteria were mainly gram-negative bacteria.Clinical prevention and treatment should be targeted for the high-risk groups and the type of infectious pathogens.
