Correlation of serum levles of cTNT,LPS and FIB-4 with Helicobacter pylori infection in patients with hepatitis B virus liver cirrhosis
OBJECTIVE To explore the correlation between serum levels of cardiac troponin T(cTNT),lipopo-lysaccharide(LPS)and fibrosis index based on the 4 factor(FIB-4)and Helicobacter pylori(Hp)infection in pa-tients with hepatitis B virus liver cirrhosis(HBV-LC).METHODS A total of 72 patients with HBV-LC admitted to Hangzhou Xixi Hospital from Jan 2022 to Jun 2023 were recruited as the research subjects.According to wheth-er Hp infection occurred, they were divided into the infected group(n=42)and the uninfected group(n=30).The fasting venous blood was collected to detect levels of serum cTNT,LPS,aspartate aminotransferase(AST),platelet count(PLT)and alanine aminotransferase(ALT),and FIB-4.Hp infection was quantitatively detec-ted.The serological indexes and FIB-4 index were compared between the two groups. The relationship between ser-um indexes and Hp infection was analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis. The occurrence of complications be-tween HBV-LC patients with and without Hp infection was observed.RESULTS The Hp infection rate of HBV-LC patients was 58.33%(42/72).The levels of cTNT,LPS and FIB-4 index in the infected group were higher than those in the uninfected group(P<0.05).The value of 14 C breath test was positively correlated with cTNT,LPS and FIB-4(P<0.05).The incidence rates of peptic ulcer and portal hypertension in the infection group were 71.43%and 42.86%,higher than those in the non-infection group(40.00%,20.00%,P<0.05).CONCLUSION The incidence of Hp infection is higher in HBV-LC patients, which is related to the changes of ser-um cTNT,LPS and FIB-4.Hp infection may increase the incidence of peptic ulcer and portal hypertensive gastrop-athy in HBV-LC patients. The regular Hp monitoring is recommended for HBV-LC patients.
