Effect of perinatal reproductive tract group B streptococcus infection on pregnancy outcome and risk factors
OBJECTIVE To analyze the influence of reproductive tract group B streptococcus(GBS)infection on perinatal pregnancy outcome and its predisposition factors,in order to provide reference for prevention and treat-ment of GBS infection.METHODS A total of 615 perinatal pregnant women admitted to the First People's Hospi-tal of Zunyi City from Jan 2020 to Mar 2022 were enrolled and divided into the infected group(92 cases)and non-infected group(523 cases),according to whether reproductive tract GBS infection occurred in the perinatal peri-od.The pregnancy outcomes between the two groups were analyzed, and the predisposing factors of reproductive tract GBS infection in perinatal women were analyzed.RESULTS The incidence of intrauterine distress, neonatal asphyxia, low birth weight and preterm delivery were higher in the infection group(P<0.05).Gestational diabe-tes mellitus, age ≥35 years, vaginitis, history of abortion,Nugent score ≥4,vaginal cleanliness m-Ⅳ,pH≥5.0 were all risk factors for reproductive tract GBS infection in perinatal women(P<0.05).Prepregnancy exami-nation was a protective factor for reproductive GBS infection in perinatal women(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Re-productive GBS infection can increase the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes in perinatal pregnant women, and there are many influencing factors. Therefore, targeted treatment or intervention can be carried out for pregnant women with the above characteristics to reduce the risk of perinatal reproductive GBS infection and improve the pregnancy outcome.
