Causes of unqualified cleaning of cleaning and disinfection machine and monitoring methods
OBJECTIVE To analyze the effect of cleaning monitoring indicator on the cleaning quality of automatic spray cleaning and disinfection machine and to evaluate the related factors affecting the cleaning quality after in-creasing the number and position of indicator used.METHODS A brand of yellow cleaning monitoring indicator was used to monitor the cleaning effect of the cleaning and disinfection machine.Before changes,one pair of clean-ing monitoring indicators were randomly placed at one of the five positions of the top layer of the cleaning shelf,including the four corners and the middle.After changes,five pairs were placed in each of the four corners and the middle of the each layer.The residue on the cleaning monitoring indicator was observed after cleaning process to judge whether the cleaning effect is qualified,and the results were analyzed.RESULTS Before and after improve-ment,the qualified rates of cleaning monitoring were 94.44%and 80.88%,respectively;the difference was statis-tically significant(P<0.05).After improvement,68 batches were monitored,and the batch pass rate of the four-layer rack(91.18%)was higher than that of five-layer rack(70.59%)(P<0.05).A total of 1 530 pairs of clean-ing monitoring indicators were monitored,and 1 442 pairs were qualified,with a qualified rate of 94.25%.Among them,the pass rate of cleaning quantity of the 4-layer cleaning rack(96.91%)was higher than that of 5-layer cleaning rack(92.12%)(P<0.001).CONCLUSION Five cleaning monitoring indicator per layer are used to monitor the cleaning quality of the cleaning machine can be easier to find problems in the operation of the cleaning machine.Com-prehensive analysis and corresponding treatment measures can guarantee the cleaning quality of the instruments.
