Serotype and ASO,CCL-1,miR-125 in patients with vaginal group B streptococcus colonization in late pregnancy and their predictive value for pregnancy outcomes
OBJECTIVE To investigate serotype,anti-streptococcal hemolysin O(ASO),chemokine ligand 1(CCL-1),micrornas(miR-125)in patients with vaginal group B streptococcus colonization in late pregnancy and their predictive value for pregnancy outcome.METHODS Fifty-three patients with vaginal group B streptococcus colonization in Qingdao Haici Hospital affiliated to Qingdao University(Qingdao Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine)in late pregnancy(the study group)and 55 normal women(the control group)were selected from Mar.2019 to Mar.2023,and the patients of the study group were divided into the normal group(27 cases)and the ad-verse group(26 cases)according to pregnancy outcomes. The serotypes of patients with vaginal group B strepto-coccus colonization in late pregnancy were analyzed, and the serum levels of ASO,CCL-1 and miR-125 of the two groups were compared and their predictive value for adverse pregnancy outcomes in patients with vaginal group B streptococcus colonization in late pregnancy was compared.RESULTS Serotype Ⅲ was the most common among 53 patients with vaginal group B streptococcus colonization in late pregnancy, and the rest were Ⅰb,Ⅴ,Ⅰa,Ⅱ,Ⅳand NT,respectively. The levels of serum ASO,CCL-1 and miR-125 of the study group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The serum levels of ASO,CCL-1 and miR-125 in the adverse group were higher than those in the normal group(P<0.05).The area under the curve(AUC)value of serum ASO,CCL-1 and miR-125 combined detection was higher than that of single detection for adverse pregnancy outcomes in patients with vaginal group B streptococcus colonization in late pregnancy(P<0.05),and the sensitivity and specificity of combined detection were 96.15%and 88.89%,respectively.CONCLUSION The common serotype of patients with vaginal group B streptococcus colonization in late pregnancy is type Ⅲ,and the serum levels of ASO,CCL-1 and miR-125 in these patients are highly expressed, and elevated in patients with adverse pregnancy outcomes. The combined detection of the three has a high diagnostic value for adverse pregnancy outcomes in patients with vaginal group B streptococcus colonization in late pregnancy.
