Clinical features and the expression significance of NLRP3 inflammatome,IL-10,IFN-γ and SP of Malassezia infection in patients with psoriasis vulgaris
OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinical features and the expression significance of serum nucleotide-bind-ing oligomeric domain-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3)inflammatome,interleukin(IL)-10,interferon-γ(IFN-γ)and Substance P(SP)of Malazzia infection in patients with psoriasis vulgaris(PSO).METHODS A total of 101 cases of Malassezia infection in PSO patients admitted to People's Hospital of Shandong Affiliated to First Medical University from Sep 2019 to Sep 2023 were selected as the study group.According to the severity of infection, the study group was divided into the mild group(25 cases),the moderate group(35 cases)and the severe group(41 cases).Another 103 patients with PSO without Malassezia infection were included in the control group. The ex-pression levels of NLRP3 inflammasome,IL-10,IFN-γ and SP between the study group and control group,a-mong the mild group, the moderate group and the severe group were compared.Spearman was used to analyze the correlation of NLRP3 inflammatome,IL-10,IFN-γ,SP levels with Malaxia infection and severity of infection.RESULTS The levels of NLRP3 inflammasome,IFN-γ and SP in the study group were higher than those in the control group, while the levels of IL-10 were lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of NL-RP3 inflammasome,IFN-γ and SP in the severe group were higher than those in the moderate group and the mild group, and the moderate group was higher than the mild group(P<0.05).The level of IL-10 in the severe group was lower than that in the moderate group and the mild group, and the moderate group was lower than that in the mild group(P<0.05).The levels of NLRP3 inflammasome,IFN-γ and SP were positively correlated with Malas-zia infection in PSO patients(r=0.612,0.625,0.683,P<0.05),while IL-10 was negatively correlated with Malaszia infection(r=-0.597,P<0.05).NLRP3 inflammatome,IFN-γ and SP levels were positively correla-ted with the severity of infection in PSO patients(r=0.572,0.679,0.537,P<0.05),while IL-10 was nega-tively correlated with the severity of infection in PSO patients(r=-0.603,P<0.05).CONCLUSION The NL-RP3 inflammasome,IFN-γ and SP levels in patients with PSO infection are high, and IL-10 level is low. These in-dexes were correlated with Malazzobacter vulgaris infection and the severity of infection.
