Changing trends of drug resistance and class Ⅰ integron of Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates in a children's hospital from 2020 to 2022
OBJECTIVE To investigate the drug resistance and class Ⅰ integron in clinical isolated Pseudomonas aeruginosa(PA).METHODS Clinically isolated PA specimens from Jingdu Children's Hospital of Beijing from Jan 2020 to Dec 2022 were divided into three groups according to the collection time(2020,2021 and 2022,re-spectively).VITEK-2 Compact(BioMérieux France)was used to study the drug resistance of 12 common antimi-crobials.Class Ⅰ integrons were detected by polymerase chain reaction(PCR)assay.RESULTS A total of 46,57 and 72 strains of PA were detected in the 2020,2021 and 2022 groups, respectively. There was no significant in-crease in PA resistance to 12 common antibiotics. The detection rate of class Ⅰ integron positive bacteria increased year by year, and the drug resistance of class Ⅰ integron-positive PA was higher than that of negative bacteria(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The drug resistance of PA in children's hospital is high, with a significant increase in the proportion of class Ⅰ integron-positive PA.It is necessary to strengthen the detection of nosocomial infections and the monitoring of drug-resistant bacteria, and to further standardize the use of antibiotics.
