Construction of an evaluation index system of early warning ability of outpatient and emergency nurses to deal with emerging respiratory infectious diseases
OBJECTIVE To construct an evaluation system of early warning ability of outpatient and emergency nur-ses to deal with emerging respiratory infections,in oeder to provide an objective evaluation tool for assessing, training and evaluating the early warning ability of outpatient and emergency nurses.METHODS Based on litera-ture review, theoretical analysis, qualitative interviews and expert consultation, the first draft of the early warning capacity evaluation index system was formed.Eighteen experts were selected for two rounds of Delphi expert con-sultation.Hierarchical analysis and the average distribution methods were used to determine the weights of each index, and the early warning capacity evaluation index system was finally established.RESULTS The effective re-covery rates of the two rounds of expert correspondence questionnaires were 94.00%,with the expert authority coefficients of 0.91 and 0.90,respectively.The Kendall's harmony coefficients of the three-level indicators of the two rounds of consultation between the outpatient and emergency clinic were 0.23 vs 0.23,and 0.25 vs 0.27,re-spectively(P<0.001).The indicators of the evaluation system of the outpatient and emergency clinic nurses'a-bility to cope with early warning of emerging respiratory infections included three first-level indicators of response preparedness, risk identification, and risk warning,15 second-level indicators such as theoretical knowledge re-serve,operational skills reserve, psychological crisis response and 66 third-level indicators. The weights of the first-level indicators from high to low were coping readiness(0.54),risk warning(0.30),risk identification(0.16).CONCLUSION The construction process of the evaluation index system of early warning ability of outpa-tient and emergency nurses to cope with emerging respiratory infectious is scientific, comprehensive and credible, which has guiding significance for assessing, cultivating, and evaluating the early warning ability of outpatient and emergency nurses.
