OBJECTIVE To observe the effect of Weifuchun capsule combined with quadruple therapy on treatment of gastric ulcer patients with Helicobacter pylori(Hp)infection and analyze the influence on serum Toll-like re-ceptor(TLR4),myeloid differentiation factor-88(MyD88)and nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB).METHODS Totally 160 gastric ulcer patients with Hp infection who were treated in Hangzhou First People's Hospital Tonglu Hospital from Jun 2022 to Jun 2023 were enrolled in the study and were randomly assigned as the control group and the ex-perimental group,with 80 cases in each group.The control group was treated with quadruple therapy,while the experimental group was treated with Weifuchun capsule combined with quadruple therapy.The levels of serum TLR4,MyD88 and NF-κB as well as gastrointestinal secretion function indexes were compared between the two groups before and after the treatment.The clinical curative effect and eradication effect of Hp were observed and compared between the two groups after the treatment for 4 weeks.RESULTS After the treatment for 4 weeks,the total effective rate of the experimental group was 90.00％(72/80),higher than 77.50％(62/80)of the control group;the eradication rate of Hp of the experimental group was 93.75％(75/80),higher than、83.75％(67/80)of the control group(P＜0.05).The time periods of remission of epigastric pain,epigastric distention and inappe-tence were shorter in the experimental group than in the control group(P＜0.05).The levels of TLR4,MyD88,NF-κB,gastrin(GAS)and pepsinogen Ⅱ(PGⅡ)of the two groups were lower after the treatment for 4 weeks than before the treatment,and the levels of the above indexes of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).The levels of pepsinogen Ⅰ(PG Ⅰ)and motilin(MTL)of the two groups were high-er after the treatment for 4 weeks than before the treatment,and the levels of the above indexes of the experimen-tal group were higher than those of the control group(P＜0.05).CONCLUSION Weifuchun capsule can regulate the expressions of TLR4,MyD88 and NF-κB of the gastric ulcer patients with Hp infection,improve the gastroin-testinal secretion function,promote the rapid remission of clinical symptoms,and raise the curative effect as well as the eradication effect of Hp.
