Current situation of informationalized surveillance of nosocomial infection in 482 hospitals of Hubei Province in 2023 and its influencing factors
OBJECTIVE To analyze the current situation of informationalized surveillance of nosocomial infection and its influencing factors in Hubei province.METHOD From Apr.7th to May 4th,2023,a network questionnaire was used to survey the secondary and tertiary hospitals in Hubei province.RESULTS Among the 482 hospitals par-ticipating in this survey,the rate of equipping hospital information system(HIS),laboratory information system(LIS),electronic medical records(EMR),radiology information system(RIS),anesthesia information manage-ment system(AIMS),mobile nursing information system(MNIS)were 84.65％ ,76.97％ ,89.21％ ,65.98％ ,43.98％ and 26.56％ ,respectively,with statistically significant difference in the online rates of medical institutions of different sizes(P＜0.05).213 hospitals(44.19％ )were equipped with independent system for nosocomial in-fection surveillance,and the application of independent system for nosocomial infection surveillance was associated with the level,category,attribute,number of beds,and also was related to the information construction such as HIS and EMR(P＜0.05).Moreover,hospitals with independent system for nosocomial infection surveillance were more willing to participate in reporting the surveillance data of nosocomial infection(P＜0.05).CONCLUSION The informationalized construction of nosocomial infection surveillance should be strengthened in secondary,specialized and private hospitals to promote the level of nosocomial infection surveillance in Hubei province.
