Application of checklist management combined with closed-loop management in the prevention of multidrug-resistant organisms infection in burn wards from the perspective of risk
OBJECTIVE To explore the value of applying inventory management combined with closed-loop manage-ment from the perspective of risk in the prevention of multidrug-resistant organisms(MDROs)infection in burn wards.METHOD A total of 84 burn patients who were admitted in the 926 Hospital of the PLA Joint Service Sup-port Force from Jan.2020 to Jan.2022 were selected, and divided into the intervention group(n=42)and the control group(n=42)according to the method of randomized numerical table, the control group was given rou-tine management, while the intervention group was managed by checklist management under the risk perspective in combination with the closed-loop management, and the incidence of MDROS infection, quality of life and pa-tients'satisfaction were compared between the two groups.RESULTS The incidence of MDROs infection in the in-tervention group(9.52%)was lower than that of the control group(28.57%)(P<0.05).After management, the scores of Generic Quality Life Inventory-74(GQOL-74)in both groups were improved(P<0.05),and the scores of the intervention group were higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The management satisfac-tion of the intervention group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The applica-tion of inventory management combined with closed-loop management from the perspective of risk in burn wards can effectively reduce the incidence of MDROs infection, improve the quality of life of patients, and improve pa-tient satisfaction.
