Objective To explore the efficacy of different chemotherapy regimens in patients with lung can-cer and pleural effusion. Methods 110 patients with lung cancer and pleural effusion admitted to Jiyang District People's Hospital from January 2020 to December 2023 were selected as study subjects and were divided into the observation group and the control group, with 55 cases in each group, according to different chemotherapy regi-mens.The observation group was treated with carboplatin, bleomycin, interferon, interleukin combined with pleural perfusion chemotherapy, and the control group was treated with a single carboplatin perfusion chemotherapy regi-men.The efficacy, quality of life and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results The effective rate of pleural effusion in the observation group was 83.64%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(43.64%)(P<0.001).There was no significant difference in the scores of the four dimensions of quality of life between the two groups before chemotherapy(P>0.05),and after chemotherapy, the scores of the four dimen-sions of quality of life were significantly higher than those before chemotherapy, and the scores of psychological function, emotional function, physiological function and social function in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.001).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 34.55%,which was not significantly different from that in the control group(41.82%)(P=0.432).Conclusion Carboplatin, bleomycin, interferon and interleukin combined with pleural perfusion chemotherapy can effectively reduce the amount of pleural effusion in patients with lung cancer and pleural effusion, improve the quality of life, and have high safety.
