Objective To explore the application effect of emergency rapid response team in postpartum hemorrhage. Methods 80 cases of postpartum hemorrhage treated in the First Hospital of Longyan City from October 2021 to October 2023 were retrospectively selected as the study subjects.According to different interven-tion methods, they were divided into the observation group(rapid emergency response team intervention,n=40)and the control group(routine intervention,n=40).The amount of maternal bleeding, bleeding time, hospital stay time, complications, hysterectomy rate, maternal mortality, and perinatal mortality in the two groups were compared. Results The blood loss in the observation group was significantly less than that in the control group(P<0.001),and the bleeding time and hospital stay time in the observation group were significantly shorter than that in the control group(P<0.001).The complication rate of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P=0.043).However,there were no significant differences in hysterectomy rate(x2=1.053,P=0.305),maternal mortality(x2=2.051,P=0.152),and perinatal mortality(x2=0.346,P=0.556)between the two groups. Conclusion The rapid response team in delivery room can effectively improve the rescue effect of postpartum hemorrhage, reduce the amount of postoperative bleeding, reduce the time of hemostasis and hospital stay, and re-duce the incidence of complications.
