Objective To explore the application value of Dachuanxiong oral liquid combined with conven-tional Western medicine treatment in patients with stroke aura.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 70 stroke patients who visited the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Kaizhou District,Chongqing from March 2022 to August 2023.According to different treatment plans,they were divided into theobservation group(Da Chuanxiong Oral Liquid combined with aspirin enteric coated tablets and atorvastatin calcium tablets)and the control group(aspirin enteric coated tablets and atorvastatin calcium tablets),with 35 cases in each group.Whole blood viscosity,fibrinogen level,NIHSS and BI scores,and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results With low shear rate,the whole blood viscosity of both groups decreased significantly after treatment(P＜0.001),and the degree of decreasing in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group(P＜0.001).At high shear rate,the whole blood viscosity of both groups decreased significantly after treatment(P＜0.001),and the degree of decreasing in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group(P＜0.001).After treatment,the fibrinogen level of the two groups was significant-ly decreased(P＜0.001),and the observation group decreased more significantly than the control group decreased(P＜0.001).Triglyceride(TG)levels in both groups were significantly decreased after treatment(P＜0.001),and the reduction level in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group(P＜0.001).Total choles-terol(TC)decreased significantly in both groups after treatment(P＜0.001),and the reduction level in the observa-tion group was more significant than that in the control group(P＜0.001).After treatment,the NIHSS score of both groups decreased significantly(P＜0.001),and the observation group decreased more significantly than the control group decreased(P＜0.001).Conclusion Dachuanxiong oral liquid combined with conventional Western medicine treatment can significantly reduce the whole blood viscosity and fibrinogen level of patients with stroke aura,improve the level of blood lipids,is conducive to the recovery of neurological function,and has significant clinical effect.
