Objective To observe and analyze the emergency treatment and anesthesia methods of patients with severe oral and maxillofacial fractures. Methods 89 patients with severe oral and maxillofacial fractures admitted to our hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 were included, and the emergency surgery and anesthesia were carried out to observe the therapeutic effect of the patients. Results Among the 89 patients,4 patients were not successfully treated, while the total effective rate was 95.51%.There was no significant difference in the total effective rate of fractures in different locations(P>0.05).The mean value of diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure increased significantly after the treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Postoperative oral and maxillofacial hemorrhage occurred in 2 patients and hemorrhage asphyxia occurred in 1 patient. The patient's condition was stable after re-hemostasis.Conclusion Based on the difference of clinical symptoms and conditions, the implementation of more targeted treatment and anesthesia can improve the treatment rate of patients.
