Objective To investigate the clinical effect of desloratadine dry suspension combined with budesonide on children with chronic cough.Methods 100 children with chronic cough who were treated and cared for in Changle District Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Fuzhou City from January 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the subjects of this study.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into two groups with 50 cases in each group,while the control group was treated with budesonide,and the observation group was treated with desloratadine dry suspension on the basis of the control group.Cough symptom score,cough specific quality of life score and serum immunoglobulin E level were used to compare the clinical efficacy of the two groups.Results Before intervention,there were no differences in daytime cough symptom score,nighttime cough symptom score,CQLQ score and IgE level between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention,those of all children were lower than those fo them before intervention,and those of the observation group was lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Desloratadine dry suspension combined with budesonide can reduce the clinical symptoms and improve the quality of life of children with chronic cough.
