Objective To explore the application value of WeChat video follow-up combined with the KAP Theory in patients with coronary heart disease.Methods 80 discharged patients with coronary heart disease admitted to provincial government hospitals in Fujian Province from July 2021 to May 2022 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into the research group and the control group,with 40 cases in each group,using a random number table.The control group received routine follow-up,while the patients in the research group received WeChat video follow-up based on the KAP Theory,both for a period of 3 months.The medica-tion compliance,coronary heart disease health management level,and incidence of cardiac adverse events(health outcomes)were compared between the two groups.Results At the final follow-up,the medication compliance level and self-management behavior scale score of the research group were higher than those of the control group(P＜0.05);the incidence of cardiac adverse events of the research group was lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05)(2.50％vs 22.50％).Conclusion WeChat video follow-up combined with the KAP can improve the health management ability and medication compliance of patients with coronary heart disease,and reduce the inci-dence of cardiac adverse events.
