Objective To investigate the effects of sequential treatment of high throughput hemodialysis(HFHD)combined with hemodiafiltration(HDF)on clinical efficacy and prognosis in patients with chronic renal failure. Methods 110 patients with chronic renal failure undergoing dialysis treatment in the Department of Nephrology of Jinsha County People's Hospital from January 2020 to June 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into two groups of 55 patients by random number table method and recorded as the observation group and the control group respectively. The control group was treated with HFHD alone, and the observation group was treated with HFHD combined with HDF sequentially. The effect and prognosis of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the levels of TNF-α,IL-6,CRP,and IL-8 in the observation group decreased significantly compared with those in the control group(P<0.05);After treatment, the decrease in blood phosphorus levels and the increase in blood calcium levels in the observation group were more pronounced than those in the control group(P<0.05);The incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was 1 death(1.82%)in the observation group and 7 deaths(12.73%)in the con-trol group. The survival rate of patients in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P=0.028).Conclusion HFHD combined with HDF sequential therapy in patients with chronic renal failure can improve cal-cium and phosphorus metabolism, reduce inflammation, reduce the incidence of complications, and further improve the prognosis.
