Objective To explore the diagnostic significance of magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatogra-phy(MRCP)and CT imaging techniques in gallbladder adenomyomatosis. Methods 96 patients with gallbladder adenomyomatosis admitted to the First People's Hospital of Guangshui City,Hubei Province from February 2018 to February 2024 were selected as the study subjects.According to the different examination methods, they were divided into the MRCP examination group(study group,n=48)and the CT examination group(control group,n=48).The ef-fectof MRCP and CT on gallbladder adenomyomatosis were analyzed, and the diagnostic accuracy of the two imaging techniques was compared. Results In MRCP examination, the gallbladder wall could show local or diffuse thick-ening,clear cystic protrusions, and long T1 and T2 signals;in CT examination, the gallbladder wall was significantly thickened, but the cystic protrusions were poorly displayed.Among the 48 patients with gallbladder adenomyomatosis in the study group,46 cases were diagnosed by MRCP,with a diagnostic accuracy of 95.83%(46/48);among them,2 cases were misdiagnosed as gallbladder polyps. In the control group of 48 patients with gallbladder adenomyomatosis,35 cases were diagnosed by CT,with a diagnostic accuracy of 72.91%(35/48);among them,6 cases were misdiag-nosed as gallbladder polyps,4 cases were misdiagnosed as gallbladder inflammation, and 3 cases were misdiagnosed.Compared with the control group, the diagnostic accuracy of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P=0.002),with statistical significance. Conclusion Compared with CT,MRCP technique can display the lesion site structure more clearly, with higher diagnostic accuracy for gallbladder adenomyomatosis, improving the clinical diagnosis rate, reducing misdiag-nosis and missed diagnosis rates, and providing a more reliable basis for clinical treatment.
