Objective To analyze the therapeutic effects of Continuous Blood Purification(CBP)in patients with severe sepsis. Methods 80 patients with severe sepsis admitted to Dejiang County People's Hospital from May 2022 to May 2024 were selected and randomly divided into two groups using a software-generated random number method. The control group(n=40)received conventional treatment, while the observation group(n=40)received CBP in addition to the conventional treatment.Inflammatory markers, hemodynamic parameters, and clin-ical efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results Before treatment, there were no significant dif-ferences in levels of C-reactive protein(CRP),tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α),interleukin 10(IL-10),heart rate(HR),respiratory rate(RR),and mean arterial pressure(MAP)between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the levels of CRP,TNF-α,and IL-10 in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.001).The observation group also had lower HR and RR and higher MAP compared to the control group(P<0.001).The overall efficacy rate in the observation group was 97.50%,significantly higher than that(80.00%)in the control group(P=0.013).Conclusion For patients with severe sepsis,Continuous Blood Purification is more effective in reducing the inflammatory response, improving homeostasis, and promoting recovery.
