Objective To investigate the effect of comprehensive nursing care on reducing uterine atony-in-ducedpostpartum hemorrhage. Methods 80 patients with uterine atony admitted to the Suiyang County People's Hospital in Zunyi City from July 2022 to July 2023 were included in this study.According to the different nursing modes, they were divided into the control group(routine care,40 cases)and the observation group(comprehensive care,40 cases). The bleeding time and volume of the two groups were compared, along with hemostatic efficacy, anxiety and depression levels, and incidence of complications. Results The observation group had significantly lower postpartum bleeding volume at 2 hours and 24 hours, and shorter hemostasis time compared to the control group(P<0.001).The hemostatic efficacy rate in the observation group was 87.50%,which was significantly high-er than the efficacy rate(65.00%)observed in the control group(P<0.05).Following the nursing intervention, the improvement in SAS and SDS scores in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.50%,significantly lower than that(22.50%)in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive nursing care can significantly reduce the bleeding volume due to uterine atony-induced postpartum hemorrhage, improve hemostatic efficacy,al-leviate maternal anxiety and depression, and reduce the incidence of postpartum complications.
