Analysis of the Impact of Narrative Nursing Intervention on Psychological State and Sleep Quality in Patients with Multiple Rib Fractures and Hemopneumothorax
Objective To analyze the impact of narrative nursing on the psychological state and sleep quality of patients with multiple rib fractures accompanied by hemopneumothorax. Methods 90patients with multiple rib fractures accompanied byhemopneumothorax treated in the thoracic surgery department of our hospi-tal from April 2021 to April 2023 were selected as study subjects.Based on the nursing intervention methods, they were divided into the control group(conventional nursing)and the observation group(narrative nursing),with 45 patients in each group.Psychological state scores, sleep quality scores, and nursing satisfaction were compared be-tween the two groups. Results Before the intervention, there were no significant differences in SAS,SDS,and CD-RISC scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention, both groups showed reductions in SAS and SDS scores(P<0.05)and increases in CD-RISC scores(P<0.05),while the observation group displayed sig-nificantly lower SAS and SDS scores and higher CD-RISC scores compared to the control group(P<0.05).Before the intervention, there were no significant differences in PSQI scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention,PSQI scores decreased in both groups(P<0.05),while the observation group had lower score than the score of control group(P<0.05).Nursing satisfaction rate in the control group was 71.11%,significantly lower than that(95.56%)in the observation group(P<0.05).Conclusion Narrative nursing can effectively improve the psy-chological state and sleep quality of patients with multiple rib fractures accompanied by hemopneumothorax, and enhance nursing satisfaction.
