Objective To analyze the factors associated with major adverse cardiac events(MACE)during hospitalization after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)in patients with acute myocardial infarction.Meth-ods A total of 76 patients with acute myocardial infarction who underwent PCI at Zhangpu County Hospital,Fujian Province, from February 2022 to February 2024,were selected.Based on the occurrence of MACE postop-eratively,patients were divided into two groups:the MACE group(n=36)and the non-MACE group(n=40).The incidence of MACE was recorded, and both univariate analysis and logistic regression analysis were employed to examine the related factors among clinical and laboratory indicators. Results Among the 76 PCI-treated pa-tients,36(47.37%)experienced MACE,including 19 cases of acute heart failure(52.78%)and 15 cases of severe arrhythmia(47.22%).Risk factors for MACE after PCI included age ≥ 65,hyperlipidemia,hyperglycemia,NYHA heart function grade≥Ⅱ,poor ST-segment resolution postoperatively, hypertension, direct bilirubin ≥ 5.46 mmol/L,total cholesterol ≥ 2.85 mmol/L,troponin Ⅰ ≥ 7.25 μg/L,high-sensitivity C-reactive protein ≥ 24.02 mg/L,and N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide ≥ 3874.57 mg/L.Preoperative intensive statin therapy was identified as a protective factor against MACE.Conclusion The incidence of MACE after PCI is relatively high and influenced by multiple factors.Early intervention targeting these factors may reduce the occurrence of MACE.
