Objective To analyze the emergency measures, safety hazards, and rescue outcomes for cardio-vascular and cerebrovascular diseases in the emergency department. Methods A retrospective analysis was con-ducted on 80 patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases treated at Huaiyin People's Hospital in Jinan from February 2018 to February 2019.Patients were divided into two groups:the observation group, which re-ceived pre-hospital and in-hospital emergency care, including safety precautions and related rescue measures, and the control group, which self-presented to the hospital without emergency care or related rescue measures, with 40 patients in each group.Emergency outcomes and mortality rates were compared between the two groups. Results The effective rate of emergency treatment in the observation group was 95.00%(38/40),significantly higher than the control group's 77.50%(31/40),P=0.023.After emergency department rescue, one patient in the observation group had a mortality rate(2.50%),significantly lower than the mortality rate of six patients in the control group(15.00%),P=0.048.Conclusion Implementing safety precautions and related rescue measures for cardiovascu-lar and cerebrovascular diseases can significantly improve rescue outcomes and reduce mortality rates,demonstrat-ing clear clinical benefits.
