Objective To analyze the effects of different emergency nursing modes on patients with post-trau-matic splenectomy complicated by acute pulmonary embolism(PE).Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 98 patients with post-traumatic splenectomy complicated by acute PE admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Binzhou Medical College from July 2021 to July 2023.The patients were divided into the experimental group(routine emergency care)and the control group(preventive emergency care)based on the emer-gency nursing approaches. The rescue time, rescue efficiency, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the groups. Results The time from admission to treatment and the duration of surgery were significantly shorter in the experimental group compared to the control group(P<0.001).There were no significant differences in mean arterial pressure(MAP)and prothrombin time(PT)between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05).After intervention,MAP decreased in both groups, with a significantly lower MAP observed in the experimental group compared to the control group(P<0.001).PT was prolonged in both groups post-intervention,with the experimental group showing a significantly longer PT compared to the control group(P<0.001).The rescue success rate was significantly higher in the experimental group than that in the control group(P<0.05).Nursing satisfaction was also significantly higher in the experimental group compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Preventive emergency nursing can effectively shorten the rescue time, improve coagulation function, and enhance rescue efficiency and nursing sat-isfaction in patients with post-traumatic splenectomy complicated by acute PE.
