Objective To analyze the clinical value of predictive trauma nursing in orthopedic emergency trauma patients. Methods 80 orthopedic emergency trauma patients treated at our hospital from May 2021 to April 2024 were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 40 patients in each group. The emergency treatment and hospitalization-related indicators, stress levels, trauma levels, and satisfaction rates were compared between the two groups. Results The time from admission to surgery and the length of hospi-tal stay were shorter in the observation group than those in the control group(P<0.001).The emergency rescue success rate in the observation group was 97.50%,which was higher than that(80.00%)in the control group(P<0.05).Hos-pitalization costs were lower in the observation group than that in the control group(P<0.001).Before intervention, there were no significant differences in stress(P=0.422)and trauma(P=0.423)level scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, stress and trauma levels improved in both groups, with the observation group showing significantly lower scores than those of the control group(P<0.001).Nursing satisfaction in the observation group was 97.50%,significantly higher than that(80.00%)in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Predictive trauma nursing can effectively shorten emergency and hospitalization times for orthopedic emergency trauma patients, improve the effectiveness of emergency care, reduce hospitalization costs, lower patient stress and trauma severity, and enhance nursing satisfaction.
