Objective To analyze the effects of targeted nursing interventions in children with febrile sei-zures.Methods A retrospective study was conducted on the clinical data of 330 children with febrile seizures who were treated at the Pediatrics Department of Xiamen Fifth Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024.Ac-cording to the nursing plans, the children were divided into the experimental group(n=165)and the control group(n=165).The duration of symptom disappearance, rescue times, occurrence of complications, and family satisfac-tion with nursing care of the two groups were compared. Results The time to seizure and fever resolution,as well as rescue and hospitalization times, were significantly shorter in the experimental group compared to the con-trol group(all P<0.001).Complications occurred in 5 cases(3.03%)in the experimental group, which was signifi-cantly lower than that(38 cases,23.03%)in the control group(P<0.001).Nursing satisfaction among the families was significantly higher in the experimental group, with 162 cases(98.18%)compared to 141 cases(85.45%)in the control group(P<0.001).Conclusion Targeted emergency nursing for children with febrile seizures can ef-fectively shorten recovery time, reduce complications, and increase family satisfaction with nursing care.
