Objective To analyze the emergency response capabilities of emergency department nurses at Qilu Hospital and to propose reasonable improvement and enhancement strategies for any identified issues.Meth-ods Between June 2019 and June 2024,a multi-stage sampling method was used to select 100 emergency depart-ment nurses from Qilu Hospital as survey subjects.A questionnaire survey was conducted to gather preliminary data on the nurses'emergency response capabilities, mastery of emergency skills, and knowledge of emergency care. Results Among the 100 respondents,98.00%were female. The majority were aged 25~35 years(40.00%),had 5~10 years of work experience(34.00%),held the title of nurse(37.00%),and had a bachelor's degree(52.00%).Most were not on the official staff roster(63.00%)and had received emergency training(72.00%).Emergency re-sponse capability was rated high for 67 nurses(67.00%).Multiple linear regression analysis of factors influencing emergency knowledge scores indicated that gender and staff status did not significantly affect scores(P>0.05).Age,work experience, education level, professional title, and emergency training had significant positive impacts on emergency knowledge scores(P<0.05).Conclusion The overall level of emergency response capability among emergency nurses at our hospital is high.Factors such as age, work experience, education level, professional title, and emergency training positively influence emergency knowledge.Targeted professional training and scientific as-sessment can ensure that emergency nurses fully master emergency skills.
