Objective To analyze the effectiveness of pre-hospital emergency care and controlled surgical emergency nursing in patients with severe chest trauma. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 80 cases of severe chest trauma treated in our hospital from January 2022 to December 2023.The patients were divided into two groups based on the type of nursing intervention:the control group(n=40)and the observation group(n=40).The control group received pre-hospital emergency care combined with standard emergency nursing, while the ob-servation group received emergency care combined with controlled surgical emergency nursing.Clinical indicators, pain levels, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The observation group had significantly less blood loss compared to the control group(P<0.001).Additionally,the observation group showed significantly shorter lactate clearance time, coagulation function recovery time, temperature recovery time, and hospital stay duration compared to the control group(P<0.001).Post-intervention,VAS scores decreased in both groups(P<0.001),with the observation group showing significantly lower VAS scores than those of the control group(P<0.001).In the observation group,39 patients were satisfied with the nursing care(97.50%),which was higher than that(32 patients,80.00%)in the control group(P>0.013).Conclusion Pre-hospital emergency care combined with controlled surgical emergency nursing can significantly improve clinical indicators, shorten recovery time, reduce pain levels, and effectively enhance patient satisfaction and rescue success rates in patients with severe chest trauma.
