Study on the Effects of Metoprolol Combined with Trimetazidine Hydrochloride Tablets on Cardiac Function in Emergency Patients with Coronary Heart Disease and Heart Failure
Objective To explore the feasibility of the combination of metoprolol and trimetazidine hydro-chloride tablets as a treatment plan for patients with coronary heart disease and heart failure, and further analyze the impact of this plan on patients' cardiac function. Methods A retrospective study was conducted on 80 patients with coronary heart disease and heart failure admitted to the First Hospital of Sanming City,Fujian Province from March 2022 to March 2024. They were randomly divided into a control group of 38 cases and an observation group of 42 cases using a computer simplification method. The control group was treated with trimetazidine hydrochloride tablets, while the observation group was treated with a combination of metoprolol and trimetazidine hydrochloride tablets. Compare the changes in endothelial function, oxidative stress, cardiac function, and quality of life between the two groups before and after treatment. Results After treatment, both groups of patients showed an increase in NO and a decrease in ET-1 compared to before treatment (P<0.05);Through inter group comparison, the obser-vation group showed a more significant increase in NO levels and a more significant decrease in ET-1 levels after treatment compared to the control group (P<0.05). The Malondialdehyde (MDA) level in the observation group de-creased significantly after treatment compared to before treatment, while the Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) level in the control group increased significantly after treat-ment compared to before treatment (P<0.05),and the MDA level in the observation group decreased more signifi-cantly (P<0.001),while the SOD level in the observation group increased more significantly (P<0.05). Both groups of patients showed significant reductions in LVESD and LVEED after treatment (P<0.05),with the observation group showing a more significant decrease (P<0.05). Both groups of patients showed a significant increase in LVEF after treatment compared to before treatment (P<0.05),with the observation group showing a more significant in-crease (P<0.05). The intra group comparison of C-MLHF scores in various fields between two groups of patients showed a significant increase before and after treatment (P<0.05);The observation group had better scores than the control group after treatment in the above-mentioned fields (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of metopro-lol and trimetazidine hydrochloride tablets can promote the recovery of cardiac function in emergency patients with coronary heart disease and heart failure from multiple aspects, including improving endothelial dysfunction,reduc-ing oxidative stress, and improving prognosis quality. It is worth promoting.
