Objective To explore the clinical effects of Combined Spinal-Epidural anesthesia during surgery for elderly patients with lower limb fractures. Methods 78 elderly patients with lower limb fractures admitted to Xuzhou Mining Hospital from January 2022 to February 2024 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 39 patients in each group. The observation group received Combined Spinal-Epidural anesthesia, while the control group received epidural anesthesia. The anesthesia data indicators, sedative effects, respiratory status, and inci-dence of adverse anesthesia reactions were compared between the two groups of patients. Results The observation group had better anesthesia data indicators than the control group (P<0.05);The sedative effect data of the observation group patients were better than those of the control group (P<0.05);The respiratory status indicators of the observation group patients were better than those of the control group (P<0.05);The probability of adverse reactions in the observa-tion group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The use of Combined Spinal-Epidural anes-thesia for elderly patients undergoing lower limb fracture surgery has significant clinical application value.
