Objective To evaluate the clinical value of a comprehensive emergency rescue model in im-proving the outcomes of postpartum hemorrhagic shock in obstetric patients. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 80 patients with hemorrhagic shock treated at the Obstetrics and Gynecolo-gy Department of Yacheng Central Health Center,Xiapu County, from June 2021 to June 2024. According to the emergency care model used, patients were divided into the observation group (comprehensive emergency rescue model,n=40) and the control group (conventional emergency rescue model,n=40). The emergency rescue effective-ness,amount of bleeding, length of hospital stay, depression levels, and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The emergency rescue success rate in the observation group was 95.00%,significantly higher than the 77.50% success rate in the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Compared to the control group, the observation group had significantly less blood loss (P<0.001) and a shorter length of hospital stay (P<0.001). After treatment, both groups showed significant reductions in their SDS (Self-Rating Depression Scale) and HAMD (Hamilton Depression Rating Scale) scores (P<0.001),with the obser-vation group demonstrating lower SDS and HAMD scores than the control group (P<0.001). The overall incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower than in the control group, with a statistical-ly significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion The comprehensive emergency rescue model can significantly improve the success rate of emergency treatment, shorten the length of hospital stay, reduce blood loss, alleviate depressive symptoms, improve patient satisfaction with nursing care, and decrease the risk of adverse reactions in obstetric patients with hemorrhagic shock.
