Abstract
Objective To analyze the clinical value of implementing a chain-based emergency care process for patients with pelvic fractures complicated by massive hemorrhage. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 98 patients with pelvic fractures and massive hemorrhage treated at our hospital from May 2022 to May 2024. Patients were divided into an observation group (chain-based emergency care process,n=49) and a control group (conventional emergency care,n=49) based on differences in emergency nursing mod-els. The efficiency of emergency care, success rate of resuscitation, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The observation group had significantly shorter times for general assessment (t=5.750,P<0.001),vital signs assessment (t=15.318,P<0.001),life support resuscitation (t=6.352,P<0.001),diagnostic pro-cedures (t=6.258,P<0.001),and overall resuscitation (t=5.734,P<0.001) compared to the control group. The suc-cess rate of resuscitation was significantly higher in the observation group, with 46 patients successfully resuscitated (93.88% ) compared to 35 patients in the control group (71.43% ),2=8.611,P=0.003. The observation group also scored significantly higher in satisfaction with the rationality of the nursing process (t=3.287,P=0.001),nurses' emer-gency skills (t=3.086,P=0.001),and nurses' emergency response abilities (t=3.237,P=0.001) compared to the control group. Conclusion The chain-based emergency care process significantly improves the efficiency of resuscitation, success rate, and nursing satisfaction for patients with pelvic fractures complicated by massive hemorrhage.
