Expressionof peripheral blood CD4+ and CD8+ cells and PD-1 levels of patients with colon cancer and its clinical significance
Objective To investigate the expression of peripheral blood CD4+ and CD8+ cells and programmed death factor-1(PD-1)in pa-tients with colon cancer and its clinical significance. Methods 78 patients with colon cancer admitted to our hospital from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the observation group, and 70 healthy people who underwent physical examination in our hospital during the same period were selected as the control group. The peripheral blood CD4+,CD8+ cells and PD-1 levels in the two groups were compared, and peripheral blood CD4+,CD8+ cells and PD-1 in patients with different pathological characteristics of the observation group were compared, and the correlation between the pe-ripheral blood CD4+,CD8+ cells and PD-1 levels and the clinicopathological characteristics of patients in the observation group was analyzed using Pearson correlation analysis method. Results The peripheral blood CD4+ cells in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and CD8+ cells and PD-1 levels in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).There were statistically sig-nificant differences in the peripheral blood CD4+,CD8+ cells and PD-1 in the patients with different tumor diameter,TNM stage, differentiation degree and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).The Pearson correlation analysis showed that CD4+ cells was negatively correlated with tumor diameter,TNM stage, differentiation degree, and lymph node metastasis, while CD8+ cells and PD-1 were positively correlated with tumor diameter,TNM stage, differentiation degree, and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).Conclusion The peripheral blood CD4+ cells in patients with colorectal cancer was decreased, and the CD8+ cells and PD-1 levels were increased, which were correlated with tumor diameter,TNM stage, differentiation degree, and lymph node metastasis.
