Evaluation of curative effect of idiopathic scoliosis correction surgery based on imaging method
Objective To explore the efficacy evaluation of corrective surgery for idiopathic scoliosis(IS)based on radiological methods. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 46 patients with IS who underwent internal fixation surgery.Preoperative and postoperative e-valuations included full-length anteroposterior digital radiography(DR),CT scans, and post-processing reconstructions.Preoperative and postoperative DR and CT main curve Cobb angles, thoracic kyphosis angles, coronal balance, and sagittal balance values were taken as measurements.Postoperative CT multi-planar reconstructions(MPR)were used to assess screw placement. Results There were significant differences in Cobb Angle, thoracic kyphosis Angle and coronal balance of DR And CT before and after surgery(P<0.001).There were statistical differences in sagittal plane balance(P<0.05).A total of 854 screws were implanted in this study,775 of which were completely within the pedicle, and the overall placement accuracy was 90.75%.Conclusion The efficacy of corrective surgery for idiopathic scoliosis with internal fixation is clear, and DR and CT can provide objective indicators.CT-MPR images can also provide precise evaluation of bad screw placement.
